Coaches, Managers, and Volunteers

Working with Children Check

The Working with Children Check (WWCC) is a NSW State Government mandatory requirement. All clubs, associations, branches, centres and referee branches must be compliant with the WWCC and all relevant Football NSW (FNSW) Working with Children Check policies.

Coaches

We encourage all our coaches to obtain, maintain, and continue to expand their coaching skills.

FNSW runs free coaching courses and maintains extensive coaching resources which you can access from the link below.

All coaches must have a WWCC number.

Managers

All teams have a manager appointed in addition to a coach. The role of the Team Manager is to assist in organising and liaising with the Club’s Age Co-ordinators - Miniroos, Juniors, or Seniors.

Managers may also assist with organising parents, filling in for the coach on training or game day, player cards (competition ages) and anything else that needs to be done to help.

It’s not a complicated or difficult role but it is important. The role can even be shared by more than person.

Volunteers

A Club is nothing without its volunteers and our Club is no exception. Every role in our Club is a voluntary one. This means that people are freely giving their time to build and maintain the great family orientated community we have created.

There are many opportunities to volunteer including: Coach, Manager, Canteen, Field set up, Committees and more.

Put your hand up and give some time.
